เนื่องในโอกาสที่สมเด็จพระเทพรัตนราชสุดาฯ สยามบรมราชกุมารี เจริญพระชนมายุครบ 60 พรรษา ในปี พ.ศ. 2558 สถานีวิทยุโทรทัศน์กองทัพบก(ช่อง 5) แห่งประเทศไทย ขอร่วมเฉลิมฉลองปีมหามงคลนี้ ด้วยการจัดทำปฏิทิน ประจำปี 2558 และแอพพลิเคชั่นดังกล่าวนี้ขึ้น เพื่อเฉลิมพระเกียรติสมเด็จพระเทพรัตนราชสุดาฯ และเพื่อเผยแพร่เรื่องราวพระราชกรณียกิจ พระอัจฉริยภาพที่น่าสนใจ รวมไปถึงเหตุการณ์สำคัญต่างๆ เกี่ยวกับพระองค์ท่านด้วยคลิปวิดีโอภายในแอพพลิเคชั่น
วิธีใช้และดาว์โหลดแอพพลิเคชั่น
1. ดาว์นโหลดแอพพลิเคชั่น “Ch5 AR 2015” ลงบนโทรศัพท์มือถือและแท็บเลตของท่าน
2. ดาว์โหลดหน้าปฏิทินตั้งโต๊ะชุด “สิริธรสดุดี รัตนมณีประดับแผ่นดิน” ของทางสถานีวิทยุโทรทัศน์กองทัพบก (ช่อง 5)

3. เมื่อดาว์โหลดแอพพลิเคชั่น Ch5 AR 2015 แล้ว ให้เปิดหน้าแรกของแอพพลิเคชั่น นำกล้องในโทรศัพท์มือถือหรือแท็บเลตจับ

5. ผู้ใช้งานแอพพลิเคชั่นสามารถรับชมคลิปวิดีโอแบบเต็มจอ (Full screen) ได้ เพียงแตะเบาๆ ที่ไอคอนรูปลูกศรบริเวณมุมขวา
ล่างของจอโทรทัศน์ ในหน้าปฏิทินแต่ละเดือน
